Members of the Hingham High Robotics Team are excited to announce the launch of their first-ever activity week for rising 8th-10th graders. Students from any town or school are welcome.

This program will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM from August 19-23, 2024. Registration closes on August 12. No prior experience is required to participate! The program is located at 424 Gardner St. in Hingham, just off Route 3. For more information or to register, please fill out this form or email help.roboticsactivity@gmail.com. The program cost is $350 for the week.

During this five-day program, participants will learn to design, code, and build their own RC car. They will gain hands-on experience with basic electronics and mechanics, test the engineering design process, and be introduced to 3D design and printing, among other valuable skills. Participants will work in teams, creating an environment where collaboration and problem-solving skills are crucial.

Navigating high school can be challenging, but finding a place to belong can help students thrive. The Hingham High Robotics Team provides just that. A current team member states, “I feel that the team has given me a sense of importance and home while at school. It is so much fun to be in the environment among friends.” This program acts a perfect introduction to the Robotics Team at Hingham High.
