On Saturday March 22, 2025, a near capacity crowd attended The Hingham High School Athletic Hall of Fame’s induction ceremony held at The South Shore Country Club. This marked the thirteenth induction ceremony since the founding of the Hingham High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. Many past inductees, coaches, family and friends attended the event to honor the Class of 2025 inductees.

Bill Barges, Chairman of the Hall of Fame and former Director of Athletics at Hingham High School for 24 years, began the evening welcoming everyone and acknowledging the many people responsible for making the banquet a success, including the sixteen dedicated members of the Hingham HS Athletic Hall of Fame Board of Directors.

To kick off the celebration, the group recognized retired teacher and former Hingham coach, Kevin McAuliffe, with the Friend of Hingham High School Athletics Award. This award honors individuals who have made consistent and outstanding contributions to the Hingham High School athletic program.

Scott Wahle, Hingham HS graduate Class of 1971, was once again the Master of Ceremonies for the celebration. Scott gave a brief description of the accomplishments for each 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame inductee and presented a total of twelve awards during the evening, eleven athletes and one coach. The Hingham High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are very talented athletes and coaches that represent a variety of sports. Each individual is elected with consideration of integrity, character, dedication, sportsmanship as well as athletic accomplishment and contribution to Hingham High School. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 Hingham High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductees.
