You can help develop a vision and goals for Hingham’s future!
The Hingham Master Plan Committee invites you to help us develop a vision and goals for Hingham’s Master Plan Update. These components of the Master Plan are very important because they help to set the stage for many of the plan’s eventual recommendations.
From November-December 2019, we held several larger community meetings to work on the Master Plan vision statement, as well as smaller visioning sessions. We appreciate all the input we received from residents who attended these events! Through this visioning process, we reached approximately 300 Hingham residents whose feedback provided the framework for this survey.
These questions are very similar to the questions we asked residents to "brainstorm" at the community meetings. The ideas you will see after each survey question reflect the most common themes and answers from the meetings. Please review them and tell us the ideas that matter the most to you. You can also add one of your own if what you want to say is not in the list. Your responses will be anonymous, so don’t be afraid to say what you think! Responses will be compiled with all the other input we’ve received and will be used to identify critical issues, define shared values and goals, and establish priorities for the future.
The survey should take about five minutes to complete. It will close February 10, 2020 at 5pm, so please be sure to respond as soon as possible.
