Throughout these challenging times, the Hingham Food Pantry has been working hard to keep their shelves stocked with healthy, nutritious food items. But they need our help. That’s why Hingham Light is sponsoring its 4th annual food drive. Between November 30-December 7, 8am-2:30pm, please bring non-perishable, unopened items to our office at 31 Bare Cove Park Drive. Suggestions include:
- healthy cereal
- canned soup
- canned stews
- mac & cheese
- canned fruit
- mashed/augratin potatoes
- crackers
- cracker sandwiches
- granola bars
- brownie/cookie mixes
- hot chocolate mixes
***Look for expiration dates. The Food Pantry cannot accept expired food.
As a thank you, each donor will receive a 60-watt energy saving light bulb. Please join Hingham Light in supporting the Hingham Food Pantry this holiday season!
* In an effort to limit person to person contact we will have a container outside the building into which you can place your donation. Each night its contents will be emptied and placed into another crate inside. Your LED bulb will be located immediately next to the food donation container.
