Explosion of Color: Johnny Picardi
Artist Bio: John C. Picardi is an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University, a graduate of The University of Massachusetts/Boston, Johnson and Wales University and the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth where he earned his PGB in Painting. He has had two plays produced off Broadway and published by Samuel French. Both plays have been produced nationwide and have been reviewed by the NY Times and LA Times. He has been awarded a Grant from the National Italian American Foundation and his plays are part of the Billy Rose Collection at Lincoln Center and appear in Smith & Karus’s best plays 2003 and 2005 stage scenes. His first novel, Oliver Pepper’s Pickle was published by Camel Press in 2011, his second novel, Nincompoop will be released in the Spring of 2021.
