July 4th is over, but there is plenty of summertime fun ahead.
Hingham Harbor has never been more inviting due to the new walkways and soon-to-be opened bathhouse (and snack stand).
Hingham Recreation offers Yoga at the Harbor on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.; Thursdays at 8:30 a.m.; and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. through September 8. Yoga at the Harbor provides the opportunity for all to breathe in the ocean air while stretching and de-stressing. Tickets are $10 per class or $90 for a package of 10.
Tickets are available at the Hingham Rec office at Town Hall. More information is available online at hinghamrec.com or by calling 781-741-1464.
Hingham Rec also offers paddle boards and kayak rentals at the harbor, weather permitting, on Wednesdays from 7 to 11 a.m. and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bring your friends or come alone and enjoy a morning or afternoon out on the water getting exercise while exploring the harbor.
Rentals are available on a first-come first-serve for $30 for two hours or purchase a 10-rental punch card for $175 and save.
Finally, don’t miss out on Hingham Rec’s trip to the New York Bronx Zoo Saturday, August 3. The cost is just $114. The bus leaves Town Hall at 6:30 a.m. and returns at 10 p.m.
Summer is here for such a short time don’t miss a minute of the fun!
