Hingham remains in ‘yellow’ COVID-19 zone, with 44 new cases since last report

Hingham remains in the lower-risk COVID-19 "yellow" zone for the 15th consecutive week.

The number of new cases rose from 31 last week since the April 8 report posted by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to 44 this week. Updated MDPH statistics are posted every Thursday.

There were 80 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 14 days. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Hingham since Jan. 1, 2020 is 1,907.

The mPathy COVID-19 testing center at 308 Cushing St. is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Preference for Hingham residents and town employees will still be given between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. each testing day.  Appointments may be made online at https://www.mpathy.org/schedule.
