Midshipmen 2nd Class JT Jermyn recently signed the infamous "2 For 7 " at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

This time honored tradition was held a little differently this year, as the USNA adapts to the current CV-19 guidelines.

The "2 for 7" signing is a signing of a paper that states you will serve the minimum commitment, or payback the U.S. Government.  The "7" means that from the signing of these papers, there is a mandatory seven year minimum service obligation (two years remaining at USNA + five years minimum Active Duty service).

MIDN 2/C Jermyn is part of the Class of 2022 Brigade of Midshipmen / 2nd Regiment / 4th Battalion / 20th Company, and was nominated for this appointment By U.S. Congressman, Stephen Lynch (MA-8) and his parents Lisa and SCPO Keith Jermyn, USN, residents of   Hingham.
