This week the Hingham Anchor partnered with the Hingham Recreation to show love to the First Responders and Fire Department as a thank you for their bravery during Monday’s four-alarm fire. Firefighters from Hingham, Cohasset, Hull, Norwell, Scituate, Rockland, Braintree, Weymouth, Quincy, and Hanover responded to the fire which impacted multiple homes in Crow Point.

The Main Street Fire Station Tree is now decorated with hearts to show love and thanks.

More than 215 Hingham Recreation campers decorated hearts this week with sweet messages of thanks to the Fire Fighters for keeping our community safe.  Hundreds of hearts are now hanging on the tree in front of the Main Street Fire Station as a public display of gratitude.

Big thanks to Ali Henderson, Camp Art Director,  and Jacki Muh, Hingham Recreation Program Supervisor, for helping the campers coordinate the project.

Thank you to all of our First Responders - Fire, Police, Light and DPW - for your Herculean efforts this week and always.  We as a community are so grateful for your bravery.
