The Hingham Women's Club (HWC) is an organization of women that serves the Hingham and South Shore communities, providing charitable giving, direct community service, and social opportunities for its members. Our Vision is to have a local community well served, through partnerships, for those in need.
HWC is excited to announce Nikki Nihan as the club’s next co-president. Nihan has been a member of the club the last three years and has been an integral part to help the club’s largest event and fundraiser, The Festival of Trees. You can find Nihan when she’s not working with her right hand man Liam, a gorgeous puppy she adopted in August. Nikki is passionate about working out, her loved ones, making people laugh, and wine! Fun fact, Nihan is also the fabulous woman behind the “Hingham T-Rex.”
“Being the change I wish to see in the world will always be the force behind the things I do and the person I hope I am. The HWC exemplifies all that I strive to be, and it’s so much fun being part of something so special. I am honored and excited for this year and doing more wonderful things as Co President with Allison, I have big shoes to fill but I’m ready!” - shared Nihan.
The HWC is excited about the energy Nihanwill bring to the club and events during the upcoming year. Don’t be surprised if you see the Hingham T-Rex making appearances at HWC events!
Nikki will serve alongside Allison Skidmore who is serving her second year as co-president. Allison has been a member of the club for almost six years and has held various positions within the club. When not at work, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, loves sitting on a beautiful beach, cooking as much as possible and practicing yoga.
HWC Scholarship Winners!
Congratulations to the following Recipients of the 2020 Hingham Women’s Club scholarships. This year, the HWC broke tradition and awarded four scholarships of $2,000 each, instead of our traditional three awards. They hope that these amazing college-bound students enjoy the rest of summer and get off to a good start next year no matter what the circumstances!”
