The Hingham Women's Club is an organization of women that serves the Hingham and South Shore communities, providing charitable giving, direct community service, and social opportunities for its members. Our Vision is to have a local community well served, through partnerships, for those in need.

We are excited to announce Julie Hurley as the club’s new co-president for 2021/2022. She will be sharing the role next to Nicole Nihan.

Julie Hurley has called Hingham home for the last 8 years. Her instant love of the town was simple, close to the ocean and fantastic places to shop and dine!  Her first introduction to the Hingham Women's Club happened when her friend Pam convinced her to get involved with the Festival of Trees event. It was amazing to see the outpouring of support the event brings to our community and the money donated from the event to the student scholarships and the Friends of the Homeless was energizing. The women provided a sense of belonging to which many transplanted residents seek to find in the beautiful town. Julie is a full time professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and continues to work clinically at South Shore Hospital in the Hospitalist group. This past year she finally earned her Doctorate in Science and with that wondered "what can I do with all this free time?"  Her friend and co-President Nikki knew just how ! Julie spends her fun time skiing, running and anything that involves salt water or great wine. Julie's goals for the club include increasing membership, involving the amazing youth of our community and continuing to build our partnerships with South Shore Friends of the Homeless and our beloved senior citizens. In addition to the HWC, Julie has goals of establishing a partnership with a foundation in Jamaica to increase access to healthcare in rural communities and increase access for the youth to participate in organized sports.

Nicole Nihan.

Nikki moved to Hingham 5 years ago, never imagining falling in love with it like she has. Nikki has always loved being involved in philanthropy, and was enamored by the Hingham community and all the ways they give back. Nikki has always said her nitch is helping people, and has even made a career out of it; starting her own local business, Coastal Concierge Lifestyle Management.

Coastal Concierge Lifestyle Management's mission is to give individuals back their most valuable - time, by providing personal assistant, home management and relocation assistant services.

Nicole and Julie will serve alongside Past President ,Allison Skidmore who will be in the Adviser Role. Other members of the board  and committee chairs include: Jennifer Sherman, Christine Andrews, Emily Moera , Meredith Hollandar, Joanna Dutra, Katelyn Tucker, Vanessa Oleary, Sarah Hinchley, Dawn Murray, Sherri Hamm, Jo Bell and Darleen Lannon.

Mark your calendars for Wed September 29th at 7:30pm. We will be gathering outdoors at Boathouse Bistro for our first meeting of the year. This is a great opportunity for members to meet one another and to learn more about the various community services and activities we have planned for the year.  If you're a Hingham resident, are age 21 or over, and interested in getting involved with the community and making new friends please reach out to us to learn more at info@hinghamwomensclub.org or visit our website at www.hinghamwomensclub.org.
