On Oct 15, 2024 with great sadness we bid farewell to Jeanne Blackwell Morgan a beacon of light, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and laughter.
Jeanne was born in Boston and raised in West Roxbury and spend summers in Scituate. She went to Mount Alvernia Academy and graduated from Regis College. She has been a Hingham resident and part of the Hingham Community for over 70 years.
Jeanne walked through life, with her smiling Irish eyes, full of charisma, sweetness, kindness, thoughtfulness, a witty sense of humor, and full of energy! She touched the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. She was a ray of sunshine and will be missed by many.
She was a wonderful mother. She chose to be a teacher so she could be home when her kids came home. Then she taught swimming at Tower School Day Champ in Hingham, so her children could go to camp. Other private students included Areosmith’s children and Robert Kennedy’s grandchildren Patrick and Joseph Kennedy. She was the most selfless, understanding, compassionate and caring mother.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday October 20th, 2024, from 4-7pm at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond Street Hingham MA 02043. Funeral mass on Monday October 21st, 2024, at 11am at the Resurrection Church 1057 Main Street Hingham MA 02043. Lunch to follow at the Scarlet Oak Inn at Queens Anne Corner.
