WHEN: Wednesday, April 3, 2024 12:00pm- 2:00pm. Please note, it is a half-day of school for Hingham Public Schools
WHAT: Open House and official Ribbon Cutting for the launch and rebranding of the Hingham Senior Center to the new Hingham Center for Active Living.
It is a family friendly event which will include: BBQ food truck, face painting, photo booth, performance from the Hingham Singers, and giveaways. People of all ages are welcome, and it is a half day for Hingham Public Schools.
Hingham’s demographics reflect a maturing population. Based on the 2022 Community Needs Assessment Report, by 2035, older residents will make up 39% of Hingham’s population.
That’s just one of the reasons why we’ve changed. Our expanded programs are open to older adults of all interests and abilities and their caregivers.
The new Hingham Center for Active Living is preparing for the future with our ever-growing services, programs, and events. We are continually expanding the Center’s in-person and virtual programming. The Center offers everything from Aerobics to Zoom coffee!
