Straits Pond Watershed Association's Annual Earth Day Cleanup

There is no signup sheet, just show up at Wadleigh Park at the junction of Atlantic Ave (Hull), Forest Ave, and Jerusalem Rd (Cohasset) or at 105 Atlanic Ave, Hull.
Straits Pond Watershed Association in partnership with the Weir River Watershed Association and the Weir River Estuary Park Committee will hold our annual Earth Day Cleanup on Saturday April 23, 2022. This will be a trash and debris collection effort focused on Black Rock Beach, and the margins of Straits Pond. It doesn’t stop there, our partners are picking up trash on the Weir River, Foundry Pond, the Weir River Marsh and the surrounding streets. The cleanup starts at 9 am and concludes with a picnic lunch in Hull at the park at 200 Atlantic Ave where SPWA will serve grilled burgers and dogs (meat or veggie) with all the fixins. As always, dessert will be ice cream generously donated by Nona’s.
