MELODY LEBRETTON BUSH

Melody LeBretton Bush of Hull, formerly of Hanover, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 15. She was 65.

Melody was born in Waterville, ME to Burton R. LeBretton and Argentina (Dion) and raised in Merrimac. Melody lit up a room with her warmth, charm and gregarious manner. A graduate of Pentucket Regional High School, Merrimac College and an MSW from Cambridge College Melody devoted her career to helping children and families in need. She loved playing scrabble with her family and friends and experiencing life. When she wasn’t doting on her son and his family she traveled the world, walked miles and read more books than can be found in a town library.

Beloved wife of the late John J. Bush, Jr. and the devoted mother of Matthew LeBretton and his wife Michelle of Hingham. Proud grandmother of Samantha, Abigail and Jacob LeBretton. Loving sister of Marie Levesque and her husband Victor and Deborah Parkhurst and her husband Gene. Preceded in death by her siblings Muffin, Donna and Ernest, Meddie, and twins Alfred and Wilfred.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the wake on Thursday, 6/24 from 5-8 PM at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM. Funeral service will be on Friday at 10 AM at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery.   1. I love you nanny. You will always be in my heart for ever and ever. Im sorry i took down the ” I love you to the moon and back agian” sign in my room but now it wont break! I know that you loved me over those friends caroline and gahby and the others who never loved you. Just know you are safe in heavans hand and will always be rembered by the leBretton and Bush family, dont ever worry we love you so much. I hope you are playing scrabble in the skys and dancing to music in heavens Maine house. Maybe Canoblie lake ark or on a cruise somewhere. Have fun hopefully living those years out tht you lost. You were so young only in your 60s. Now im 12 and your still 65 but its ok. I know you were hurting and im glad your not anymore. Love you and go do everything you love….
