You probably have been hearing a lot about artificial intelligence (AI) recently and the dangers it poses to the world. While the concept of AI has been around for decades (remember HAL from the 1968 science fiction movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey), in the last six months the AI technology has advanced rapidly. Chatbot software is available free for use with some programs that simulate human-like conversations with users via chat. Its key task is to answer user questions with instant messages. The chatbot that is getting the most press is ChatGPT. Introduced last November, ChatGPT reached over 100 million users by January 2023, making it the fastest growing consumer application to date.
To learn more about ChatGPT I decided to “interview” ChatGPT online. In this condensed and edited actual “interview”, you will get an understanding of the power of AI.
