The Hingham July 4 parade has become one of the town's most anticipated and best attended annual events.
The parade returned in full force in 2022 much to the delight of those along the route. The 72-float parade featured marching bands, colorful floats, antique cars, local sports teams and much more!
Linda Kutsch was celebrated as the 2022 Grand Marshall. Additionally, the Hingham Anchor was thrilled to honor our first and second Hinghamites of the Year; Jon Asher rode in the parade as the 2021 winner followed by Deirdre Anderson as the 2022 winner. These two members of our community were chosen for their commitment to the civic engagement of the town of Hingham.
On behalf of the community, Hingham Anchor would like to thank the volunteers who make up the 4th of July Parade Committee.
