The Town Beach is closed for high bacteria starting Wednesday, August 24th @ 3:00pm. This is the lifeguarded area of the Town Beach. The Hingham Health Department will re-test tomorrow and pending lab results will hopefully reopen soon. We will update you as soon as we get the lab results.

Hi, I’m not sure if this is relevant, but I saw two dogs make big doo doos at the beach last week. Aren’t they forbidden to be on the beach?
