Registration is open for the 33rd season of Derby Summer Arts at Derby Academy in Hingham. The camp offers multi-arts programming for children (ages 8 to 16) and courses are taught by professional artists instructors, who cherish each child’s creativity and offer a rich, in depth experience. Their dates of the program are June 28 through July 30; hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This summer campers will choose a schedule that appeals to their individual interests in Visual Arts, Drama, Writing, Animation and Video, STEAM, Sports, Music, Dance, and Film. Families may choose a five, three, or two week schedule. There is a noontime performance every day after lunch, and a newspaper is printed daily—Financial Aid is available.
Derby Summer Arts also offers programs for ages 3 to 7, but those programs are full for 2021.
During the week of August 2nd through August 6, campers may choose a one week program from a selection of Specialty Camps.
Derby Summer Programs will follow all CDC, state, and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19, including masks and social distancing.
