NVNA and Hospice, a non-profit home health care and hospice agency serving 27 communities on the South Shore, today announced that CEO Renee McInnes, MBA, RN has been appointed as Chair of the Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts Board of Directors.
She previously served on the Board as Vice President. As Chair, she will be responsible for leading the Board in promoting and implementing the Alliance’s vision and strategic policy.
McInnes has served as CEO of NVNA and Hospice since 2016, leading a team of more than 300 employees that in 2023 provided over 120,000 patient visits. With the organization’s Board of Directors, she is responsible for the financial health and operations of the nonprofit. McInnes’s commitment to advancement, education, and quality has resulted in NVNA and Hospice’s consistent achievement of 5-star patient satisfaction scores. In her tenure, she has led a focused philanthropy program that has raised over $20 million for patient care.

The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts is a non-profit trade association of home care agencies that promotes home care as an integral part of the health care delivery system.
Founded in 1969, their mission is to “unite people and organizations to advance community health through care and services in the home.”
As of June 2021, the Alliance has more than 180 Agency Members from all corners of Massachusetts, as well as dozens of Allied and Individual Members. Membership is voluntary – the Alliance is not a government entity – but provides essential resources to our members to help them stay informed and thrive.
