A resident saw a man attempt to enter an unlocked car in his driveway overnight. The resident scared him away before anything was taken.

On Friday, May 2, 2019 at 12:15am a resident on Bel Air Drive noticed his driveway motion light turned on. He saw a car had pulled into the end of his driveway with their lights off. He noticed a man walking around his cars that were parked in the driveway. The resident walked outside and the man ran to the passenger side of the waiting car. Another man, the driver, was waiting inside the car. They drove away before the resident was able to see the license plate.

The resident noticed one of his car doors was open but nothing appeared to be missing. Both the cars in the driveway had been left unlocked with valuables inside. At this time, the only description of the the two men is that they were both white wearing dark colored clothing. The car was a dark colored small sedan. Officers checked the neighborhood and found several other cars parked in driveways that were also unlocked but none appeared to have been disturbed.

As always, lock your car doors, remove valuables from your car at night and please report any suspicious activity right away.
