Leland, Robert R. of Hingham, died December 21, 2023.
Bob adored his family, especially his wife, son and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, particularly to Hawaii in years past and more recently to Europe with his wife and friends. He loved to relax surrounded by family and the annual New Years Eve celebration with friends. Bob had a quick, dry sense of humor and was always ready with a playful zinger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Anne Leland (Madden). Loving father of Rob Leland and his wife Katy of Hingham. Cherished brother of Mary Nardone, James Leland, Joseph Leland, John Leland, Michael Leland, Shana Martensen, and the late Barbara Leland. Adored Granddad of Elizabeth, Frances and Georgina Leland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 1/2 from 5-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Wednesday 1/3 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery, Hingham.
