After a 2-year pause, The Second Parish Arts Festival is back for its 64th year! The show is at Second Parish in Hingham, 685 Main Street and runs May 6th to May 15th. Hours for the public are Sunday - Wednesday 10 am - 5pm and Thursday- Saturday 10 am - 8 pm.
The festival features work of over 200 local artists and artisans available for viewing and to purchase. Exhibits include oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, pastels, photography, sculpture and fine crafts, including pottery, jewelry, woodcarvings, and much more. The show offers a distinctive and wide array of wonderful gifts and decorative accents for the home.
There will be an opening night reception Thursday, May 5 from 5-8 pm and a special Mother’s Day Celebration May 8 at 1 pm. Leigh Baltzer and her puppets will present a puppet story time for children, and there will be a special treat for the mothers.
