South Shore Conservatory presents Pete the Cat and the New Guy

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) presents “Pete the Cat and the New Guy,” featuring SSC’s ImagineARTS Band, on Tuesday, June 27, 10:30 am in the Carr Amphitheater at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.

Perfect for children of all ages, especially those three to six, ”Pete the Cat and the New Guy” teaches children and parents that everyone, at some point, is the new person in the room, and that people can be friends, even if they’re very different.

SSC’s ImagineARTS Band features teaching artists Kaitlyn Mazzilli, Jen Pearl, Sarah Troxler, Nick Biagini, and Ed Sorrentino, who share this story while performing songs inspired by the book. Currently partnering with the Brockton Public Schools, ImagineARTS is SSC’s arts-integrated literacy residency program designed to strengthen early literacy skills among kindergarten students.

This performance is made possible through the generous support of SSC’s Business Partners, including South Shore Bank and Derby Street Shops in Hingham.

Tickets are on sale now at Pete the Cat and the New Guy – Campaign (sscmusic.org). Find South Shore Conservatory on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube.
