The South Shore Junior Anglers is a boat based program for boys and girls ages 9 -13 years old. No experience is necessary. Just an interest in fishing and the marine environment.

The boat will leave the Hingham Shipyard and the students will fish Quincy Bay and the Boston Harbor Islands.

The will be fishing for bait, bass, and flounder. Rods and life jackets are included.

The purpose of the SSJA is to provide children the opportunity to learn all about fishing in a safe, fun environment. The goal of the program is to deliver and practice the skills and knowledge necessary to inspire a lifetime of fishing and environmental stewardship.
