With Spring starting Thursday, March 20th, that means it’s time for South Shore Special Needs Athletic Partnership to host Pizza Palooza Plus.
This year will mark the eighth time SNAP has hosted the event at the Hingham High School Cafeteria. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd.
When the event first started in 2016, it was pizza only but has grown to be more than pizza, hence the name change to Pizza Palooza Plus. This year’s event features the largest group of vendors ever with 19 participating businesses. Pizza and other food will be served by Bertucci’s, Big Y, Boat House Bistro, Comella’s, Crow Point, Euromart, Evivva, Gusto’s, Ironwood, Old Country, Papa Gino’s, Peel, The South Sports Center Café and The Venetian. Hornstra Farms will service small chocolate milks along with vanilla and chocolate ice cream, Weir River Water will provide fresh water and desserts will be served by Fratelli’s, The Launch Program and Press Juice.
Tickets are $15 per person, $40 for a family (up to 4) and $50 for families of 5 or more. Tickets will not be sold in advance but payment may be made at the door by cash, debit or credit, check or Venmo.
All proceeds will help fund the 15 programs SNAP hosts for special needs kids and their families.
