The South Shore Country Club’s (SSCC) 2024 Season is around the corner and the Friends of the South Shore Country Club (FSSCC) are preparing for another memorable season. FSSCC events in 2023 funded the restoration of the bunkers on the 11th hole. In 2024 the FSSCC will continue our efforts to improve our beautiful facilities and golf course. This year the FSSCC will be fundraising to support new golf carts, enhanced tee boxes, new roof/HVAC and a future on-course bathroom.
The FSSCC will be combining 2 fantastic events on one day on Saturday March 30th for its first annual SSCC “Spring Ahead” Day
Volunteer Day – Saturday, March 30, 8:00-11:00am
Get your crew together for fun divot repair, branch clean-up, raking and trash collection. Coffee and donuts will be provided along with golf related appreciation gifts and a voucher for a delicious hot cup of soup from the Greenside Grille. Please bring your work gloves if you have them. Student volunteer letters will be provided at the conclusion of the event for those needing verification.

Kite Day – Saturday, March 30, 11:00-2:00pm
Come fly a kite on the beautiful SSCC golf course with the Easter Bunny. Popcorn, juice boxes and special treats for the kids will be provided by the Greenside Grille/FSSCC. Kites are available for a small donation to the Friends of the South Shore Country Club!
