In-person voting for the state election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters in precincts 1-4 will vote at Hingham High School, 17 Union Street; Precincts 5-7 at Hingham Middle School, 1103 Main Street; and Precinct 7A at Willard Square, Linden Ponds, 201 Linden Ponds Way.

Along with four statewide ballot questions, Hingham voters will consider two local questions related to the proposals to build a new Foster School and a new public safety facility.  See https://www.hinghamanchor.com/clarification-of-local-nov-8-ballot-questions-provided-to-avoid-confusion/ for full details.

If one or both of the two separate warrant articles related to these proposals gain voter approval by a two-thirds vote at the Nov. 1 Special Town Meeting, a majority affirmative ballot vote would be required on Nov. 8 for either or both of these projects to move forward.

In-person early voting will be conducted at Town Hall, 210 Central St., from Oct. 22 to Nov. 4. (See schedule below.)

Candidates on the Nov. 8 ballot include governor and lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, auditor, representative in Congress, councillor, senator in general court, representative in general court, district attorney, sheriff, and county commissioners.
