The Launch at Hingham Shipyard will play host to a summer concert series again this season, including a number of local favorites. Additionally, the destination will play host to outdoor summer fitness and fun.
On Friday, June 24 starting at 2pm, the Hingham Shipyard kick off summer with a multitude of family-friendly activities on the lawn as it unveils a brand-new mural commission, painted by artist Olivia Rose James, in celebration of the Shipyard’s nautical heritage. This celebration is free and open to the public.
The Shipyard is also excited to welcome its newest tenant, The Beth Kitchen & Bar, located at 18 Shipyard Drive and opening soon this summer. The Beth’s menu will feature creative-American cuisine with global influences, carefully crafted cocktails, and local beers.

Bands will play at the amphitheater located behind 18 Shipyard Drive each Friday at 7pm. A variety of genres are represented, aiming to please a wide audience of visitors, neighbors and shoppers.

On behalf of Aug 19th band, Living On A Bad Name, we are really getting pumped to perform for you. For those not familiar with the band, we are a Bon Jovi tribute band out of Boston. we play out of New England as much as we play here but this will be our first Hingham performance. We feature members in the band who perform for or record with Stryper, Steelheart, Fifth Angel and others.
