After a long winter and a cold wet spring the Hingham Maritime Center on Barnes Wharf by the rotary is open for the Summer 2023 season!
Off season improvements include new docks, an upgraded fleet, and the addition of some exciting new programming.
Do you have a rising 1st or 2nd grader with an interest in exploring the marine life and ecosystem of our beautiful harbor? Our Little Mariners Program is the perfect introduction to the waterfront for youngsters.
Want to explore the harbor and get a great core workout? Our new Stand-up Paddle board offerings are perfect for experienced paddlers or those interested in learning (must be 12 years of age). Paddle boards provide a unique and rewarding opportunity to explore every detail of Hingham Harbor and we are excited to offer regular classes as well as private lessons. Private events like birthdays, or guided sunsets cruises with friends are also available, give us a call!
Although some of our rowers are already in full swing on the water, the bulk of our summer programming will begin on Monday, June 26th with youth and adult Sailing and Rowing.
Classes are filling up quickly, but there are still spots available so please come join us and take advantage of Hingham’s amazing waterfront.
