The Hingham Women’s Club proudly presents its annual Festival of Trees at the Hingham Community Center during Christmas in the Square. This event has been a Hingham holiday tradition over the last 15 years for thousands of residents and South Shore neighbors. Over 30 beautifully decorated trees and dozens of items, made up of donations by individuals, groups and businesses, will be on display to the public and available for silent auction and raffle.
If you would like to attend the event in person, the Hingham Community Center will be open from 5-8:30pm. You are also able to participate virtually on Saturday December 4th until 9pm.
100% of money raised by the Festival of Trees fundraiser is donated back to the community, The event provides Hingham graduating senior scholarships and a donation Friends of the Homeless of The South Shore.
The Hingham Women's Club Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to high school seniors residing in Hingham who will be entering an accredited college/university for a two- or four-year course of study. We will award three $2,000 scholarships to students who are Hingham residents.
The Friends of the Homeless of South Shore provide tremendous services to our local families in need. Last year we were able to donate $12,000 to this amazing local organization. The funds raised at Festival of Trees for Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore are used in a myriad of ways to support homeless families.
