Hingham based non-profit, The Lead Out Foundation (TLO) is preparing to host its biggest fundraising event to-date this fall. The Dalton & The Sheriffs concert event will be held at Paragon in Hull on Friday, September 16 from 7-11pm. Tickets are expected to sell-out but limited tickets are still available at https://tlofoundation.org/events.

The Lead Out Foundation was formed in 2021 by the Holleran Family of Hingham and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by providing Quality of Life grants to support greater independence and engagement.

In addition, TLO funds self-esteem-building programs for teens and young adults with disabilities.

In March of 2016, Dan and Mary Holleran welcomed their first child Liam into the world; and their beautiful, happy baby boy welcomed them into the world of parenting and Spina Bifida. As the Holleranā€™s embraced all things ā€œLiam,ā€ they found themselves connecting with the Spina Bifida community for support & guidance and quickly realized they wanted to do everything in their power to help Liam thrive while also being active members of the Spina Bifida community and beyond. Ultimately, it was the desire to help others that led to the birth of The Lead Out Foundation. The name of the organization comes from a cycling term Lead Out (noun): A race tactic in which a rider accelerates to their maximum speed for the benefit of a teammate in tow.

Within their first-six months, TLO has already funded more than six grants for individuals in need. One of those grants, let them to meet Brian Sculley, lead singer and founder of Dalton & The Sheriffs. After TLO helped a family connected to Brian Scully purchase a new wheelchair accessible van, Brian wanted to give back to TLO and offered to donate a concert that the organization could use as a fundraising event before they head out on their National Tour. In early, September Dalton & The Sheriffs are headlining a concert at the new MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park.

ā€œBrian Scully is an amazing musician and an even better guy, if thatā€™s even possible,ā€ said Dan Holleran, founder of The Lead Out Foundation. ā€œWe are so excited to partner with Dalton & The Sheriffs to raise critical funds for people with disabilities across the South Shore and beyond. Itā€™s going to be a night of great music for a great cause.ā€

Tickets for the September 16 event are $40 each and can be purchased here. Paragon is located at 197 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA.
