Little Laxers is a series of COED skills and drills sessions created to introduce the game of lacrosse to boys and girls in a FUN and low-pressure environment.
We use fun drills and games to encourage confidence and skills that will benefit and encourage young players to pick up the game
There are no teams (we sometimes break into small groups and compete in a drill but no full games) Boys and Girls play together.
THIS IS ABOUT HAVING FUN FIRST – LACROSSE SECOND
We use a soft rubber ball and a Warrior Warp youth stick (each Little Laxer is given a stick to keep). No other equipment is needed. This is non-contact.
ONLY STUDENTS IN KINDERGARTEN (younger players will have to wait until they enter K).
$127.00 per player (includes a Warrior Warp Stick and a Little Laxer (Scoops) T-shirt).
We will run six Sunday morning sessions starting on Sunday, April 28th – Sessions run 8:00 – 9:00 am at the Hingham High School Fields. No Little Laxers Memorial Day Weekend (Sunday, 27 May). Register HERE!
***We encourage parents to volunteer to help*** (you can indicate if you would like to help in the registration). No Lax experience needed.
