Don’t let the rain this weekend cloud your outlook. Instead of the usual weekend movie, how about this special look that will open your eyes to an important environmental issue? This is not your typical Saturday night date movie or feel-good family popcorn flick because this documentary is about plastic.
Yes, plastic. Before you think you are going to toss this idea into the recycling bin, take a look and prepare to have your mind blown as this may forever change your family’s views about purchasing anything packaged in plastic.
This free offer is only available until the end of February.
Break Free from Plastic, an international action-oriented movement looking for lasting solutions to the plastic pollution crisis has more information on this movie.

The documentary premiered on the Discovery Channel in April 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic shutdown, unfortunate timing for widespread public showings and events to engage and inspire change. Therefore, the creators have been working to get the word out in other ways such making it available for rental on Amazon Prime (for a fee) and occasionally offering if for free through organizations such as Break Free from Plastic. If you watch it, The Cleaner Greener Hingham Committee would love to know what you think and if you learned anything that will inform your purchasing choices.
