It will be a spring of memories and friendship for Hingham youth baseball players during Hingham Little League’s 2025 season. Registration is open now, and whether your child is just discovering which hand to put their glove on or spends every waking moment finessing their swing, HLL has a league for them.
More than 800 players are expected to participate in nearly 400 games between early April and mid-June in leagues from five to sixteen years old (PreK to High School)—learning the value of teamwork, friendship, and perseverance, while making a lifetime of memories along the way.
This season will also bring a number of continued improvements to the Little League experience. HLL and the Hingham Recreation Department partnered in the fall to completely rebuild the infield at Hersey Field on Thaxter Street, providing a smoother, more consistent playing surface. This marks the 3rd major field renovation investment in the last two years.
Hingham Little League is also continuing with infrastructure upgrades including a brand new scoreboard at Haley Field!
2025 will be the second season of our Senior League program, played by 13-16 year olds on a full big-league diamond, and our Intermediate League, played by 13 year olds on a transitional 50/70 field. As spring turns to summer, players can also expect summer travel teams to take on the best competition from around the region and the state as well as Hingham’s popular in-town evening Sandlot League.
