Are you planning a Labor Day picnic? Can you give a party where each attendee is encouraged to bring a donation for the Soldiers Care Package outreach? Donations are critically needed right now. And a party is such an easy and simple way to gather supplies. We are supporting the most Soldiers ever.
Since 2005 the First Baptist Church of Hingham has packed and shipped 50,000+ lbs of Care Package supplies contributed by the Hingham and surrounding communities to our deployed US Soldiers in the Middle East.
A 24/7 donation trunk is available for your convenience below a designation sign in the parking lot on the right side of the First Baptist Church, 85 Main Street, Hingham Square.
If anyone prefers to send a financial contribution toward postage instead of shopping for items, it will be gratefully accepted. Please make a check out to "Soldiers Care Packages” and mail to 85 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
You can find further info and a list for suggested Care Package donation items on www.SoldiersCarePackages.com, or email fbc.hingham@verizon.net. Our Soldiers will be sincerely grateful. A touch of home means so much amid the heat, dust, winter cold, insects, and long hours.
