In the Dolphin Gallery-
The Hingham Library is pleased to be welcoming Susan Kerrigan to the Dolphin Gallery.
Her pastel exhibit, Here and There, opens on Saturday, Dec. 4 and will be on display
through Thursday, Jan. 6. The show is sponsored by the North River Arts Society.
The show is a collection of landscape paintings inspired by the New England scenery.
The cast light, evening shadows, and colors of the region are captured in the variety of
paintings in this exhibit.
Susan Kerrigan has painted using a variety of mediums all her life. Over the past years
she has concentrated her artwork in pastel paintings. She has taken several classes
through the North River Art Society with Donna Rossetti Bailey, Laurinda O’Connor,
Nancy Colella and Ed Chesnovitch.
In addition to classes, Susan has participated in workshops given by nationally known
pastel artists: Liz Hayward Sullivan, Alain Piccard, Tony Alain, Marla Baggetta, Ken
Elliot, Jean Heron and Christine Ivers.
Her work has been accepted and shown in many New England juried art shows. She
has won awards for her work from: Massasoit Arts Festival, Cape Cod Art Association,
North River Art Society, Pastel Painters of Cape Cod, and Connecticut Pastel Society.

Susan is the former Chairperson for the North River Art Society Arts Committee and
resides in Cohasset, MA.
