Attention dog lovers! The outdoor Shop to Table sidewalk sale at Derby Street Shops on Friday, Aug. 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will celebrate the pups in our community.
During this first dog-themed Shop to Table event, guests who make a purchase at any dog-friendly store -- easily identified with a dog-friendly window sticker -- and then show their receipt at Polkadog Bakery will receive 10 percent off pup treats and another 10 percent off Gelato & Chill's signature Pupsicles.
Participating shops are listed below. Those with an asterisk will donate a portion of the day’s sales to the Scituate Animal Shelter.
In between shopping and after the event, guests are invited to pick up takeout and head to The Green -- in partnership with Untold Brewing -- to cool off with a drink.
The Green will be open from noon to 9 p.m., and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce will offer a complimentary drink to the first 100 guests after 4 p.m. as part of its "Hello South Shore" initiative. All dogs are welcome.
