New look, who ‘dis? The Hingham Shipyard Wahlburgers location just released a brand new menu – and we will have one of everything, please. Under the direction of veteran chef and local culinary mastermind, Anne Stenfors, Wahlburgers has a new offering designed to nourish the entire family with dietary preferences and new healthy choices included.

Stenfors, Culinary Director at Alma Nove and Wahlburgers, a CIA (Culinary Institute of America) graduate with over 25 years of restaurant experience (including various roles in the Alma Nove kitchen), was chosen to lead the R&D charge for the Wahlburgers brand in response to the tremendous franchise growth and popularity of the hit reality show, giving customers an inside look into the family, the business, and the opportunity to “take a seat” at the Wahlberg table. New locations, new menu items but, the same family vibe and approachable atmosphere.

While continuing to offer classic favorites, such as the “Our Burger”, The “O.F.D.” (Originally From Dorchestah) and “Moms Housemade Chili”, one glance at the new, expanded menu will leave you salivating over bun-less burger bowl options, new salads, “flights” of crispy tots (Cheese & Bacon, BBQ Chicken and Cinnamon Sugar) and new, healthy sides like the “Kale & Brussels Sprout Slaw”.

Welcome the new “Salmon & Street Corn” salad for a healthy twist on classic Mexican flavors or dive into the new “Southern Crispy Chicken” salad for a bowl of crunchy, down-home comfort. Plant-based customers can rejoice over the addition of the Impossible Burger and seriously turn up the volume with a side of the Truffle Fries (truffle oil, parsley and a truffle dipping sauce).  Chicken tenders on the main menu now have a chili-glazed kick but the kid’s can still get the classics like the Smallburger and original chicken tenders, too. Gluten-free buns are always available and there is a robust selection of gluten-free sides.

The best part about this new menu is that it is carefully curated by Stenfors: a seasoned culinary force who has dedicated her career to focusing on fresh food, family, and a thoughtful approach to what the community needs and wants.

“For as long as I can remember, food has always brought my family together whether it was for a celebration or mourning; it was not just to nourish our bodies, it was nourishment for the soul.  Smells that awaken memories and feelings - I love that.  I love when people come together over the food we prepare for them in our restaurants.  I love the camaraderie in the kitchen and the importance of teamwork and communication. I feel so blessed to be in this role.  I have been able to travel to amazing places and meet some amazing people that feel the same way that I do about this company.  Cooking in a restaurant, working in a kitchen, the fast-paced nature of the business is all I know and I could not imagine doing anything else”, says Stenfors.

In addition to a commitment to fresh food and creative menus, the community-driven activism set forth by Paul Wahlberg and his entire team at both Alma Nove and Wahlburgers is what sets their brand apart. With a special affection for Father Bill’s, Wellspring, YMCA and Feed The Hungry, you can also count on Wahlberg, Stenfors and the team to continuously support local schools, non-profit organizations, and charitable efforts.

Just as Stenfors connects food with family and community, we highly recommend checking out the new menu at the Hingham Wahlburgers location with YOUR family.  Dine-in at one of the socially-distanced seating options or order take out or curbside pickup  (also offering beer and wine to go) and bring Wahlburgers home to your own table.
