The weather is drawing the angry attention of many this month. While we still can't shake the wet pattern entirely, this week will offer a few respites of nice summer weather.
JUST HOW UNUSUAL IS THIS
This has been a wet month, it's not your imagination.
So far more than 10" of rain has fallen in Hingham. That's the second most in any July on record, behind only 1988.
At the rate we're going, it's likely we'll end up taking the top spot before July ends.
Only one day--the 15th--has not featured any rain in town. That's wild.
MORE RAIN AHEAD
This week will start on a gloomy note. Just like Sunday, Monday will feature lots of clouds in the morning, with more occasional bouts of showers.
Temperatures will be cool, in the low 70s, but by afternoon we should start to break out some sunshine.
BRIGHTER TIMES AFTER THAT
Tuesday looks like a really beautiful day. Warm and muggy with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 80s. This will be the beach day many people have been looking for. Unfortunately it comes in the middle of the week.
More clouds fill in on Wednesday, and we'll be back to scattered showers, downpours, and storms with temperatures near 80.
Thursday looks brighter again, with a mixture of sun and clouds, and a bit less humid with temperatures in the 70s. Friday will also be in the 70s with a mixture of sun and clouds, and a spot shower risk.
