Early Voting

The Town Clerk will hold its Early Voting at the Town Hall, 210 Central Street, in the Central Meeting Room on the Second Floor as follows:

The Town Hall is open only for Early Voting.  There will be no other offices open.

Vote by Mail

For those of you who are expecting ballots in the mail we will probably receive the ballots near the end of September.  We will hope to get them all out by the beginning of October.  If there is any delay we will let you know.

Getting the ballots out has been a challenge; we appreciate your patience.

The postmaster has informed us that the mailed ballots will not be leaving the town.  They will be sorted in the Hingham Post Office and will not be sent out of town for distribution.

You may also drop your ballots in the mailbox at the end of the driveway at Town Hall.

Election Day Voting

The Election will be held on November 3rd from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Polling places are as follows:

High School, 17 Union Street – Precincts 1 through 4

Middle School, 1103 Main Street – Precincts 5 and 6

Linden Ponds, 201 Linden Ponds Way, Willard Square – Precinct 5A

Safety Considerations

For both Early Voting and the Election we will take all precautions with social distancing and keeping the areas clean and safe.  Everyone is asked to wear a mask when entering the voting areas.
