The Hingham Farmers Market is pleased to announce its 2020 Winter Market. This year the market will be held at the Wompatuck State Park Visitor Center, 204 Union St., Hingham. The Visitor Center is easily reached just inside the park’s Union St. entrance near the high school.

Beginning Saturday, January 4, the market will meet weekly from 10am to 1pm during January, February and March.

Mark Cullings, president of HFM, Inc., said, “We’re excited to be able to offer our loyal patrons and vendors a weekly winter market. The Wompatuck Visitor Center is a wonderful site. Not only does it offer great interior space, it also features ample parking. We thank the Department of Conservation and Recreation for its willingness to partner with the HFM and look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

This is the fifth year the HFM has offered a winter market, but the first featuring weekly sessions. It will welcome back many of the vendors that make the summer market such a success. Copicut Farms (fresh eggs, poultry and pork) will join River Rock Farm (beef) along with the HFM’s two popular seafood vendors C&C Lobster & Fish and Jordan Brothers Seafood. Several of the HFM’s other food vendors will be present as well: To Dine For (Mediterranean foods), Uncommon Grounds (coffee), Hale Bone Broth (bone broth), Vyasa Bros (yogurt-based desserts), Spritzal Cookie Company (cookies) and Lara’s Cuisine (Italian pestos) are among the fine food purveyors attending.

For updates and further information, patrons are encouraged to visit the HFM’s website, www.hinghamfarmersmarket.org, or its Facebook page. In addition, HFMarket Matters, the market’s weekly newsletter, published every Thursday during the market seasons, offers the most current information. Interested readers may sign up on the website or Facebook.
